David Bradford is a skilled lawyer with extensive legal and operational experience in High tech. Today, Mr. Bradford is a partner in the 8th largest law firm in the United States, Greenberg Traurig. Previously he served as General Counsel to Dynix Corporation, the world's leading supplier of software and services to Libraries, Novell, the world's leading network O.S. supplier, and the Jon Huntsman Transition team as he was elected Governor of Utah.
As Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Novell, Inc., Mr. Bradford led Novell from start up through a series of acquisitions, public offerings and business development activities which led to its place as a multi billion dollar corporation.
His leadership in the field of protecting Intellectual Property rights gave rise to his being elected Chairman of the Business Software Alliance.
Mr. Bradford also had responsibility for Novell's Government Relations efforts representing the Company's interests with government officials leading to numerous contacts at the highest levels.
At Novell, Mr. Bradford established and deployed the industry's first worldwide team of software specialists to fight piracy and instituted one of the industry's first software Patent development programs.
Today Mr. Bradford serves on the Board or as an Advisor to a number of companies in the high tech world. He ia also an advisor to numerous private equity firms. He has also been featured on the PBS Special on the History of the Internet.
In 1997, he was honored as the "Alumnus of the Year" for the J. Reuben Clark Law School of Brigham Young University. Mr. Bradford has a Law Degree from Brigham Young University, a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
